Gift Card Spend
For Staff use when customer purchasing in store items with online gift card.
Process to be undertaken:
Add the total amount being spent to basket. For example: £28.00 in shop - Add 3 x £10.00, 1 x £5.00, 3 x £1.00 to basket.
Checkout as usual, enter admin@theglasshouse.co.uk into e-mail field
Ask customer for their gift card number and enter in and checkout. Order will come though the website as usual however this order can be immediately fulfilled.
If the customer is buying more than their gift card total then enter miscellaneous onto Zettle and take payment through normal channels. If they are spending less than their gift card amount, this process will allow them to still have that remaining amount available to spend on the same code when they are ready.
If you are unconfident with this process then take customers details along with their unique gift code number and make it known in the shop that this process is outstanding
