This oldie but goodie (60 million years old to be exact) will bring back soothing memories of a favourite tree out in the wilds of the world. In Asia, this plant is revered as a treatment for fever, bronchitis and rheumatism and some believe that the plant is a home to spirits.
SUN
Bright, indirect sunlight.
WATER
Water only when the top 2cm of soil are very dry to touch. Ensure water drains, so roots don’t sit in water. Empty tray on excess water. Mist weekly.
TROUBLESHOOT
Losing leaves = too little light, too much or too little water. Yellow or curling leaves = too little water or tap water may contain damaging minerals-water with rain or filtered water.
